SpeedEX Privacy Policy

Scope and Consent

We need you to understand the reasons and methods by which SpeedEX (“SpeedEX”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and/or processes your personal data (as defined below) in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to you and all individuals who provide personal data to SpeedEX or whose personal data is otherwise collected, used, processed, stored, and/or disclosed by SpeedEX for its operational purposes and/or objectives.

This Policy supplements but does not supersede or replace any consent you may have previously provided to SpeedEX, and does not affect any rights SpeedEX may have at law in connection with the collection, use, processing, and/or disclosure of any individual's personal data.

SpeedEX may update this Policy from time to time to ensure that it complies with our business needs or to adapt to changes in applicable laws or regulatory requirements.

All updates to this Policy will be published online at btq.io (the “SpeedEX Website”).

Notification of any significant revisions will also be posted on the SpeedEX Website. By continuing your relationship with SpeedEX after any amendments are posted on the SpeedEX Website, you shall be deemed to have accepted the revised Policy.

This Policy constitutes part of the terms and conditions that govern your specific relationship with SpeedEX (if any) (“Terms and Conditions”) and should be read in conjunction with those Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Policy:

• "Individual" (or "you") refers to natural person, whether living or deceased, and "Individual" (and "your") should be interpreted accordingly;
• "Personal Data" refers to data that can identify an individual, whether used alone or in conjunction with other data accessible to SpeedEX;
• "Personnel" refers to any individual who has entered into a service contract with SpeedEX, including long-term or temporary employees, as well as trainees and interns engaged by SpeedEX from time to time; and
• "Prospective Personnel" refers to any individual who has submitted an application to be employed by SpeedEX as Personnel.

Purposes for the Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personal Data:

SpeedEX will only collect, use, and disclose personal data from or about individuals that is reasonably considered necessary for the relevant purposes of such collection, use, or disclosure. These purposes may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Providing our services(including customer support);
• Processing transactions and sending notifications regarding your transactions;
• Resolving disputes, collecting fees, and troubleshooting issues;
• Communicating with you regarding our services and business, and informing you of important matters concerning your account and/ or use of the website. We also use your personal data to respond to any questions, comments, or requests you have made and to handle any complaints;
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations;
• Establishing, exercising, and defending legal claims;
• Monitoring and reporting compliance issues;

• Performing risk management, including verifying the accuracy of information and validating it with third parties, as well as preventing, detecting, and protecting against fraud and other prohibited or illegal activities, claims, and other liabilities; and
• Enforcing our contractual terms.

What Information May We Collect?

The specific personal information we may collect from you can vary depending on whether you are visiting the SpeedEX website/social media accounts, or if you have joined or are in the process of joining to use our services. Some of the personal data we may collect through your interactions with us (depending on the nature of the interaction)

• First and last name;
• Country and city of residence;
• Location data;
• Job title;
• Nationality of legal representatives and senior management;
• Company shares/ voting rights percentage;
• Telephone number;
• Identification number;
• Date of birth;
• Date of birth and nationality of individuals who directly or indirectly own or control more than 10% of the company’s shares;
• First and last name and/or billing first and last name and/or delivery name;
• Billing address (street, city, state, country, postal code) and/or delivery address;
• Email and/or billing email and/or shipping email;
• Telephone and/or billing telephone and/or shipping telephone;
• Billing company and/or shipping company;
• Username
• User identity
• Any online identifiers; and
• Any factors that can be used to identify you.

This is not an exhaustive list. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect other information as needed. If the personal data you provide to us or that we collect is considered special category personal data or judicial data under applicable data protection laws, we will only process such data within the limits allowed by applicable laws.

Special category personal data may include personal data that reveals or allows us to infer a person’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or union membership, genetic data, or data concerning health, sex life, or sexual orientation.

Judicial data may include data related to criminal convictions and offenses, including information about the commission or alleged commission of criminal offenses.

Personal data does not include data from which any potential identifiers have been irreversibly removed (anonymous data).

1. How SpeedEX Collects Personal Data

In general, SpeedEX may collect personal data from you through one or more of the following methods or circumstances:

• •Directly Provided Information: When you visit or use certain parts of our website and/or services, you may be asked to provide personal data. You are not obliged to provide your personal data to us; however, this may mean that you are unable to access certain parts of our website or use our services.
• Automatically Collected Information: When you visit our website or use our services, certain information is automatically collected, such as IP addresses and device types. This information is useful to us because it enables us to better understand how you interact with our website and services, so that we can continue to provide you with the best possible experience.

2. How We Use Personal Data and Other Information

Within the scope permitted by applicable laws, we may use personal information and other information for our legitimate business interests, including but not limited to:

3. How We Protect Your Data

SpeedEX should make reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks to the personal data it holds.

If SpeedEX transfers personal data overseas from Singapore, SpeedEX will take reasonable measures to ensure that such personal data transferred receives protection standards equivalent to those under the PDPA, and such transfers shall comply with this policy.

SpeedEX will ensure that third parties receiving personal data from SpeedEX incorporate appropriate contractual terms to protect such personal data in a manner consistent with this policy, and shall not use such personal data for any purpose other than the purposes specified by SpeedEX in a written agreement with the third party.

SpeedEX assumes no responsibility for the security and/or management of personal data shared by third-party websites accessed through links on the SpeedEX website.

However, please note that no data transmission or storage system can guarantee 100% security. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

4. How We Share Data with Third Parties

We share and disclose information with the following parties:

• Our internal departments, for the purposes stated above, your provided personal data shall be disclosed to our compliance team and other internal functional departments on a need-to-know basis or where we have a legitimate interest;
• Suppliers providing services related to information technology for us, such as website hosting, data analysis, payment processing, order fulfillment, provision of information technology and related infrastructure, customer service, and email sending;
• Our suppliers providing services related to our marketing communications and activities based on your choices, including any applicable choices for such sharing that we provide to you;
• Your social media connections, other website users, and your social media account providers;
• Third parties involved in the restructuring, merger, sale, joint venture, transfer, assignment, or other disposition of our business, assets, or stock, or any bankruptcy or similar proceeding; and
• Other legally required disclosures. We reserve the right to disclose any personal data you provide or defend our rights or property under applicable law if a court compels or a government entity requests us to do so, or if we believe it is necessary to comply with the law or protect personal information. We also reserve the right to comply with any applicable specific record retention laws.

5. Request to Withdraw Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent for SpeedEX to collect, use, and/or disclose your personal data at any time by submitting a request to the SpeedEX Data Protection Officer at cs@speedEX.io.

We will process your request to withdraw consent within a reasonable time after receiving the request. After processing, we will no longer collect, use, and/or disclose your personal data in the manner specified in your request.

Withdrawing consent may affect the services we are able to provide to you. Depending on the extent to which you withdraw consent for us to process your personal data, this may mean that we cannot continue our existing business relationship with you.

For data collected through cookies, you can disable it.
When accessing the SpeedEX website, your internet browser's cookies. However, disabling cookies may result in a loss of functionality, limit your use of the website, and/or delay or affect the way the SpeedEX website operates.

6. Accuracy of Personal Data

The information you voluntarily provide to SpeedEX should be considered complete and accurate. SpeedEX will take reasonable steps to verify the accuracy of personal data received at the time of collection, but you will still bear the primary responsibility for ensuring that all personal data you submit to SpeedEX is complete and accurate.

SpeedEX will also take reasonable steps to periodically verify the personal data it holds, considering the scope of its operations. However, you are still responsible for notifying SpeedEX of any applicable changes to your personal data from time to time.

If you fail to ensure that the personal data submitted to SpeedEX is complete and accurate, SpeedEX will not be responsible for any inability to provide services to you.

7. Access and Correction of Personal Data

You may request to:

• Access any personal data we currently hold or control; and/or
• Correct any data we currently hold or control by contacting us via email at: cs@speedEX.io

To protect your interests, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

When you request access to the personal data we hold or control, we will endeavor to provide the relevant information to you within 10 business days.

Upon your written request, we will correct any inaccurate personal data we hold or control within 10 business days.

With your consent, once we have corrected your personal data, we will send the corrected personal data to all organizations to which SpeedEX disclosed your personal data within one year prior to the correction, unless that organization does not require the corrected personal data.
Personal data applied for any legal or business purposes.

Under the PDPA, SpeedEX is not required to provide access to or correct personal data in certain exempted situations as specified by the PDPA.

8. Data Retention

The length of time we retain your personal data depends on the nature of the data and whether we have an ongoing business need to retain it.

We will only retain your data for the duration of our business relationship with you and for a period thereafter when we have an ongoing business need or legal requirement to retain the data.

Once the period related to any business need or legal requirement to retain your personal data has expired, we will ensure your personal data is deleted or anonymized.

Cancel Account

After the account is canceled, all information in your account will be cleared. After submitting the cancellation application, the cancellation will be reviewed within 30 days. If you log in during the cancellation period, the cancellation will fail.View the cancel process
